This is the HUDY "Star Box" 1/8 off road starter box. The HUDY Star-Box is the world's lowest, most ultra-compact, lightweight professional starter box that has been designed for 1/8 off-road cars, making this the ultimate star amongst all starter boxes on the market!
The Star-Box has been designed to accommodate either standard 7.2V NiMH, or 7.4V LiPo batteries (Optional Bullet Cable Available for use with bullet terminal LiPo Packs). With its ultra-cool stylish design, the Star-Box comes fully assembled and ready to use. The premium quality, long-life drive belt system is driven off of a powerful 775-type, fan cooled electric motor. The CNC-machined aluminum housing and top plate have a high-quality black coating for extra durability, while the countersunk housing screws are recessed with the surface to eliminate unwanted protrusions. An integrated switch is attached to a premium-quality wiring harness with extra-thick cables and quick change "fast-on" connector, so no soldering is required. The quick change starter wheel design allows the wheel to be mounted on both right or left side, and allows fast & simple starter wheel replacement with the removal of only 3 screws! An integrated composite handle with ergonomic back cover allows for comfortable carrying, and tall plastic feet are included to configure the Star-Box for use with taller truggies.
